Description

Round off the taste of your dishes with bay leaves
The laurel is already known as a symbol of honour and distinction from ancient Greece. At that time, athletes at the Pythian Games in Delphi received a wreath of laurels as the only recognition of their victory. This custom was later adapted by the Romans, where they awarded their commanders with laurels when they won.
Our bay leaves come from Turkey, where there is a warm and sunny Mediterranean climate.
Bay leaves harmonise well with oregano, marjoram, garlic and thyme. They are stored in a dark jar, airtight.
